The Burnsville Performing Arts Center, located in the Heart of the City, has two theatres, 150 seat Black Box and a 1000 seat Proscenium Stage. The massive center has hosted some of the most famous performers in the world. Louie Anderson, Ralphie May and countless acclaimed symphonies have all took the stage in Burnsville.
Over 1,800 acres is dedicated to parks and recreation services in Burnsville. There are a total of 79 parks that are all managed by Burnsville Parks Department. Only 26 of the parks are developed for recreation and public usage, the remaining parks are preserved and serve as a natural habitat.
