They provide training for careers as well as assist them in finding employment. They also help the soldiers find emotional support as they are assimilating back into civilian life. The Wounded Warrior Project has helped over 63,030 soldiers (as of January 2015).
Helping a hero is an organization that builds homes for wounded soldiers. All recipients of the homes have been seriously wounded in war, leaving them with brain damage, blindness, multiple amputations, severe burns, and some are in need of 24/7 care. This organization has built over 100 homes in 22 different states.
Boy Scouts of America’s mission is to help boys learn how to become men who are productive and trustworthy citizens. With its motto: “Be Prepared”, the organization wants its scouts to be prepared for the difficulties of adulthood. The highest award in the Boy Scouts is the Eagle Scout Award. Eagle Scouts have done impressive things for America, including becoming astronauts, high ranking officers in the armed forces, and state governors.
